Joni Owens, President and CEO of The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, has tendered her resignation effective Monday, March 21, 2005, according to Andy Walker, 2005 Chairman of the Board, The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber leadership will meet this week to form a search committee for Ms. Owens’ replacement. During this transition period, Anne Wanamaker, Vice President of Operations for the Chamber, will assume day-to-day responsibilities for all Chamber-related activities and special events.

Joni has done an excellent job serving in a leadership role for The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce. We understand her decision to leave the Chamber and support her in this decision. We will do everything we can to make this transition a smooth one.
