David Armstrong Terminated (Updated)

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners has voted to terminate Newly hired county manager David Armstrong, effective immediately.

The Motion was made by Commissoner David Richard to terminate Armstrong as County Administrator effective immmediately. Motion passed 5-0 with no discussion. Armstrong's Termination letter included 8 specific reasons for termination, with examples. Disregard for exisitng policies, and failure to comply with the direction set forth by the board were the most serious charges. Armstrong declined comment, and stated instead that he is only interested in moving forward.
