Zell Miller Endorses Bill Stephens

Bill Stephens was honored to receive the support of United States Senator Zell Miller yesterday.

 

"Bill Stephens is a good, strong, able conservative leader who has served Georgia well. And I hope he has the opportunity to continue to serve this great state. He's a young man who always does his homework and cares for the right things. I am proud to have been his friend and a friend of the Stephens family for most of my life,” said Senator Miller.

 

Senator Miller was in Atlanta to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Coverdell Leadership Institute.

 

I’ve had the privilege to work with Senator Miller, including serving in his administration in the first years as Governor. I also proposed honoring the Senator with a statue at the State Capitol, which will be funded entirely with private donations.

 

Senator Miller joins a long list of Georgia leaders who are supporting my campaign, including Governor Sonny Perdue, Congressman Charlie Norwood, and Congressman Nathan Deal.
