Qwest, MCI talk deal
Merger talks between Qwest Communications and MCI reportedly have intensified in recent days, The Wall Street Journal reports. Qwest, under pressure to expand its footprint in a consolidating market, is said to be offering $6.3 billion to acquire MCI. USA TODAY/Associated Press
