A new option for family-friendly bowling and much more is coming to Cumming this summer. Stars and Strikes, a 52,000 square foot Family Entertainment Center, complete with laser tag, arcade games, billiards and more is already taking reservations for its wide range of fall bowling leagues.

According to General Manager Dave Ballenberg, who managed Brunswick bowling centers for 13 years, there will be a variety of options to fill Stars and Strikes’ 36 lanes. From mixed, men’s and ladies, to kids, seniors and homeschoolers, there’s a perfect fit for all ages and stages of life. Their split format (12 lanes in one area and 24 in another) means that open bowling won’t have to shut down during leagues—so guests can stop by to bowl anytime.

Bowling is a great way to relax and "recharge batteries" after work, and as part of a bowling team at Stars and Strikes, you’ll get out, get active and get to know some new people in our community. Whether you gather with friends, coworkers or complete strangers, it’s sure to be a blast!

And Stars and Strikes is convenient, too. The facility is located at 700 Atlanta Road, near the Cumming 400 Shopping Center, with easy access from Hwy 400 and plenty of free parking.

Nothing beats watching your boss catapult a “granny roll” down the lane—or celebrating as your college roommate hits his third turkey of the night. Getting together to bowl once a week will keep you in touch with friends you don’t get to see as often as you’d like, or help you to get to know your coworkers better in a venue that is outside of the office.

What sets Stars and Strikes apart, according to Ballenberg, is that it is much more than a place to bowl. “It’s a complete family entertainment center,” explains Ballenberg. “Bowling is just the anchor.”

The 52,000 square foot facility offers laser tag, billiards, an arcade, a restaurant and a snack bar in an almost entirely smoke-free environment. Each room is elaborately themed and decorated, and every activity takes advantage of the latest state-of-the-art technology.

In anticipation of a tremendous response to the opening of Cumming's newest family entertainment center, avid bowlers may sign up now for Fall 2005 leagues!

And don’t miss Stars and Strikes’ Grand Opening Celebration this July. Look for more exciting news to come as we prepare for the debut of Cumming's largest family attraction!
