The past three months have been filled with excitement, anticipation and a lot of work, but the time has finally come. Amy Bergin, who is the creator of the Couponizer®, will make her QVC debut on Friday, July 8 between 2 and 4 p.m. Amy’s product, which was discovered originally at the Atlanta, Georgia product search in 2004, is a part of the 2005 Decade of Discoveries Tour, a tour that highlights 100 brand new products by featuring 10 each week at a different scenic American location.

“When we went to the product search back in April 2004, we only hoped to one day be in this position,” said Bergin. “But in reality, our volume had picked up so much that we could not deliver enough products in time for the 2004 show. So, we were put on hold and reevaluated in 2005. It was hard to wait since I knew we had a great opportunity, but I also knew that timing is everything and QVC knows their business best and they would come through in the end. Well, they certainly did!" Bergin continues, "I had no idea what we were in for. Now, I’ve had training to help with my on-air presentation; the product has been tested, re-tested and packaged to make sure it meets with QVC’s standards; we have thousands of units ready for shipment and I’ve had the chance to talk with a few veteran QVC vendors to put my nerves at ease. I guess you could say I’m ready!”

The product is an organizing system for coupons that enables maximum savings through efficiently organizing grocery coupons as well as other saving opportunities.

“We saw thousands of products in hopes of finding 100 to feature on this tour. QVC is pleased with the products selected and proud to help provide exposure for rising entrepreneurs and inventors,” said Marilyn Montross, director of Vendor Relations.

The Decade of Discoveries Tour will kick off in Philadelphia on July 8 and continue for nine consecutive weeks at other scenic destinations across the country. Broadcast live and on location each Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. ET, QVC will introduce 10 new products at every tour stop.
